Request Items/Interlibrary Loan
Requesting Items
If Clyde Public Library does not own an item you want, you may search the catalog and place a request for the material with a CLEVNET member library. That CLEVNET library will send the item to our library for you. You will be notified when the material arrives and there is no charge for this service.
To request, locate the item in the library catalog and click on Place a Hold. Enter your library card number and PIN in the boxes provided and click Logon. Next, choose the library where you would like to pick up the item. Click Submit Hold. A message will display indicating whether or not the hold was successfully placed. Click on the link Return to Search Results to continue searching the catalog. Click Log Off to end the session and close the window.
Interlibrary Loans
If an item is not available from a CLEVNET member library we will attempt to locate it from another library through our Interlibrary Loan service. Please provide complete information about the item (author, title, date published, etc.) as well as your name and phone number to a library staff member. While most libraries will not lend magazines, it is often possible to locate the article through a search of the CLEVNET databases.
