Summer Reading 2026

Get ready to Unearth a Story this summer at the library! Our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party stomps in on Saturday, May 30 from 10:00am–12:00pm with dinosaur-sized fun, games, and activities for all ages. The party is completely FREE, and library staff will be on hand to help everyone sign up for summer reading.

Starting June 1, readers of all ages can join the adventure. Kids can earn tickets for reading and enter weekly prize drawings all summer long. Teens can collect passport stamps through reading and programs to earn prizes and secure a spot at the highly anticipated Teen After Hours Lock-In at the end of July. Adults can join the fun too with Summer Reading Bingo and raffle entries — including the return of last year’s fan-favorite tattoo prize option.

With programs, events, and activities happening throughout June and July, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check our event calendar for registration details and upcoming programs.

We’re also proud to partner with Connecting Kids to Meals this summer to provide FREE lunches for kids ages 0–18 every Monday through Friday from 11:30am–1:00pm in our meeting room. Come enjoy a meal and make the library part of your summer routine!
