Clyde Public Library Board Meeting

Minutes: Motion to accept minutes was made by Kaple and seconded by Archer. Motion carried unanimously.
Gifts: $680.10 to be accepted. Motion to accept by Archer and seconded by Dirlam. Motion carried.
Director’s Report
- Building and Grounds: None
- Technology Updates: Staff print release hit a stall, table for future. Looking at reorganizing computers and printers to fit what we need. Working on the Cybersecurity Plan. January 8th for training sessions with OPC-1.
- Training and Meetings: 12/2-OPC-1 Pulse Check Meeting, 12/5-Right Click Conference in Dublin. 12/11-Meeting with Gene about American 250 Book Club. 12/12: Staff Meeting. 12/19: Staff Christmas Lunch. 12/23: Westside Director's Quarterly Meeting.
- Staff: Jillian is a great addition to the staff and learning quickly. Creating a Sunshine Committee starting in 2026. In partnership with the Clyde Police to do background checks for employees.
- Current Projects: Year-end reports and statistics, Planning potential projects for future improvements. 2026 Summer Reading Kick-off Party. Dinosaurs is the theme. Strategic Planning with community survey launching January 6th.
- Programs: Dec.19-Christmas Cookie Exchange, Library closed Dec 24, Dec 25, Dec 31, Jan 1, and Jan. 19. Jan 5- AI for beginners. Dec 31-Noon Year’s Eve Party.
