- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Position summary
Clyde Public Library is seeking an Adult and Teen Services Librarian to support programming, outreach, and public service for adult and teen patrons in a small rural library setting.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide reference, readers’ advisory, and technology assistance in person, by phone, and online.
- Plan and present adult and teen programs, including occasional off-site programs.
- Coordinate presenters, logistics, and promotional materials.
- Support outreach efforts and community partnerships.
- Assist with circulation and public service desk coverage as needed.
- Supervise library operations in the absence of the Library Director, as assigned.
- Occasional local or regional travel for programs, meetings, or training is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in public service, programming, education, or libraries.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
