  • Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Position summary

Clyde Public Library is seeking an Adult and Teen Services Librarian to support programming, outreach, and public service for adult and teen patrons in a small rural library setting.

Primary responsibilities

  • Provide reference, readers’ advisory, and technology assistance in person, by phone, and online.
  • Plan and present adult and teen programs, including occasional off-site programs.
  • Coordinate presenters, logistics, and promotional materials.
  • Support outreach efforts and community partnerships.
  • Assist with circulation and public service desk coverage as needed.
  • Supervise library operations in the absence of the Library Director, as assigned.
  • Occasional local or regional travel for programs, meetings, or training is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in public service, programming, education, or libraries.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
