🎉 Summer Reading at Clyde Public Library: Color Our World! 🎨

This summer, embark on a vibrant journey at the Clyde Public Library from May 31 through August 1! Our Color Our World Summer Reading Program offers a kaleidoscope of activities, including reading challenges, creative workshops, and exciting events for all ages.

🌟 A Few Summer Events

  • Kick-Off Party – May 31, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM: Celebrate the start of summer with face painting, foam party, and fun for the whole family!

  • Balloon Art with Picasso the Turtle – June 2, 1:30-2:30PM: Erica Carlson is ready to train the next generation of balloon twisters! In the balloon workshop, Erica teaches participants how to make basic twists and coaches them through sculpting some of their very own creations. This program is recommended for ages 7 and above. Registration is required by calling the library at (419)547-7174 or online at https://clyde.libcal.com/event/13533683. 

  • Star Wars: The Jedi Arts – June 14, 11:00–12:00 PM: Teens, come and practice the Jedi arts by deflecting Nerf darts with your blade. Each teen will receive a free Star Wars comic book as a participation prize!

  • Virtual Tour with Cleveland Aquarium – June 16, 2:00–3:00 PM: Visit The Greater Cleveland Aquarium virtually. They will teach us about the amazing creatures that live in the aquarium and answer your questions. This is an all ages program.
